    Welcome to Starline Community Services

    Starline community services is a provider of residential, facility, and community services to children and adults with a diagnosis of Intellectual Disabilities, Autism including duo diagnosis under the waiver program and through the Bureau of Developmental Services (BDDS) in the state of Indiana. The organization provides other services to individuals receiving Aged and Disabled waiver program disabilities.

    Through community living and individualized support, our dedicated staff unwearyingly guides individuals toward the most self-sufficient life possible. Starline community services believe that people with disabilities diagnosis can and should be productive, contributing members of their community. Our programs are geared toward providing everyday opportunities for lifelong learning and achieving personal potential.

    We offer services to enhance the overall independence of individuals while maintaining the structure necessary to promote safety, health, and well-being. The program offered assures them they receive comprehensive services tailored to the needs of each client served.

    The Joint Commission is recognized as the leader in creating and maintaining the highest standards for quality and safety in the delivery of services to people with Intellectual Disabilities through assessing and providing guidance to enhance the organization’s performance. The main objective of the Joint Commission is to enable and empower organizations to build a strong foundation for quality care and safety for each individual in service. The standards strongly focus on the quality of care, culture of safety to the client, of the environment in which care is provided in addition to assessing employees' competency standards.

    Starline Community Services has received The Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval for more than 10 years after undergoing a thorough performance standard at least once every three years and as needed. The Joint Commission standards are regarded as the most rigorous in healthcare organizations and Starline Community Services is committed to providing the highest level of quality care to the clients receiving services through the guidance of the Joint Commission standards and the Bureau for Developmental Services (BDDS) waiver services in the state of Indiana.

    To uphold and merit certification, Starline Community Services goes through an extensive impromptu on-site review by The Joint Commission professionals, such as administrators, Psychologists, and nurses. The purpose of the review is to evaluate the organization's performance in areas that affect the delivery of service to each individual receiving services. The intent of these surveys is to evaluate the organization's compliance with national-wide established Joint Commission standards. The survey results are used to determine whether, and the conditions under which, accreditation should be awarded to the organization.

    The Joint Commission collaborates with Starline Community Services to promote and maintain high standards of care and encourages anyone with questions and/or concerns about services related to the standard of care offered at Starline Services to address them by reaching out to the organization as shown below.

    The Joint Commission's Office of Quality Monitoring will acknowledge in writing or by telephone requests as they are received. An account representative will contact the individual requesting the public information interview prior to the survey, indicating the location, date, and time of the interview and the name of the surveyor who will conduct the interview.
